Twelve years after transitioning from a post-doc in Aarhus to an Assistant Professorship at INRS, Federico gives the opening lecture at the iNano annual meeting in Aarhus. He then gives a lecture/workshop on survival skills for scientists for post-docs.
December 20, 2013 - Good news and (slightly) sad news
Good news! Federico has been awarded the 2014 Award for Research Excellence in Materials Chemistry from the Canadian Society for Chemistry!
Sad news (not really): today is Luis’ last day, as he will start a new position at the French CNRS in Lyon in January. We wish him all the best and thank him for his hard work during his postdoc at INRS.

This month Prof. Rosei delivered invited lectures at the 8th Multifunctional Materials (MFM) Workshop in Ubatuba (Brazil), and at the 2nd International Conference on Materials Science in Las Vegas (USA).

Federico delivered an invited talk at Nano E3 in Airlie Beach (Australia), as well as seminars at Queensland University of Technology’s Institute for Future Environments (Brisbane) and Flinders University (Adelaide). He additionally delivered the “Survival Skills” lecture at Flinders, and at Swinburne Univerisity of Technology (Melbourne).
