My research interests are orbiting around the nanofabrication of strongly correlated oxides such as colossal magnetoresistive and multiferroic materials for technological applications. Ferroelectric and multiferroic materials used as active force for charges separation became a very promising opportunity for photovoltaic applications since an increasing efficiency has been demonstrated in thin films.

I am presently investigating nanoscale structures were composition, size and domain wall effects can be controlled. Such control on those physical parameters could lead to efficient and highly tunable miniaturized photovoltaic cells for self-powered miniaturized electronic systems.
